Mummy went to Shanghai. EIGHT days without mummy at home. :(

Now all the household chores are my good friends. Everyday, wash clothes, wash the dishes, bring clothes out to dry, iron clothes and blah blah blah. Potential housewife. Today is the 2nd day. Come on!! Xueting, you can do it!!!! It's only 6 more days of chores. :) *that's a bitter smile.*

Yesterday was the Standard Chartered Marathon. It's my second time volunteering. :)

We were in charge of the drink station 18 km away from the starting line, which is located near the Indoor Stadium. We were in a big team, a team of 42. We were in charge of non carbonated 100 plus, ice mountain and bananas. Because there were 42 people, we had nothing to do. We cam whored instead. 5 of us were in charge of the bananas, we were the banana people of the day. Naturally, the pics will be bananas and us, bananas and us and bananas and us. :))

I forget if we went 7-11 before or after the bananas came. Did I mention 7-11? Ya, we were too super hungry that we went 7-11 for some food.Though food (fried mee and 2 fishballs) were provided, no one start the ball rolling. Had instant noodles at around 3-4 am in the morning. How healthy. :) Then when we got back from 7-11, we saw the rest of the people eating the mee. Like !@#$%^&*, but I did not regret my choice. The mee sucks. Same goes to our leader. I think she is totally irresponsible, seriously not fit to be a leader. She just cared for her clique, told them the info given from the headquarters and did nothing. This type of leader = sian-ness.

Ok, I think I remember now, the bananas came after we had our supper.

Bananas neatly on the tables, still we had nothing to do. So, we continued to cam whore.:)

Finally, after a very very long wait, around 7 plus, we saw the first runner. As usual, a black, from Kenya if I am not wrong. All starting to get very high and cheered very loudly.

Slowly, runners starting to stream in. At first, no one wants the bananas, quite slack. Then suddenly, there is a stream, really a stream of hungry people, saw bananas as God. We were so busy, dismantling the boxes of bananas and distributing the bananas. We still had to choose the bananas, because there were some which looked green. Totally unripe. And mind you, one box of bananas weighs 18kg. And JC was the one carrying most of the boxes. You are the man. But, we girls did help too. heehee. Ya, while working, we were hungry. So, Cia and Qi went to check out if the mee can still be eaten. Sticky and sour are the words to describe the mee.

Super tiring and we went for a break since the drinks stations looked empty. Qi and I took cardboards and we slept in the floor. First time in my life I slept on cardboard. It wasn't that bad actually. I was too tired to care about what I am sleeping on. I fell asleep, really asleep.

After some time, YEAH, 收工了！Damn happy. Wanted to look for Choo Hong, but we went to the wrong place. Got our $$ and left to Raffles Place Shopping Centre. We ate at some Hong Kong Cafe. After that, Home sweet home.

Did the chores, bathed and settles everything. It's 5+ pm. If I sleep, then it will be very out of rountine. I stayed up til 9.30 pm and lights off.

Ok, that's about it.
